Exploring vodka tasting notes: Linden flowers and citrus freshness
I’ve recently been getting into ultra-premium vodkas, and I’ve noticed something interesting. A lot of them have these floral notes, especially hints of linden flowers, and a kind of citrus freshness. I was wondering, do any of you have experience with vodka like this? How would you describe the balance between those floral and citrus notes? I know it’s pretty subtle, but it’s definitely there in some of the higher-end options.

I agree with both of you! It’s amazing how something as subtle as linden flowers can elevate the vodka experience. I’ve also noticed that some vodkas with this floral and citrus blend taste much smoother, almost silky on the palate. I think the balance is key — too much citrus can overpower the floral notes, but when they’re in harmony, it’s just perfect. It’s definitely a signature trait of higher-end vodkas.
